OUR STORY

Blackwood was born from the idea of creating not just accessories, but true works of art — pieces with character, soul, and deep meaning.

Founded in 2016 in Odesa by designer Yana Kirova and IT entrepreneur Andrii Boiko, the brand blends artistry, technology, and a philosophy of conscious consumption.

We work with natural materials: premium Italian leather, rare types of wood, and signature compositions made of real flowers. Each piece is handcrafted in our Workshop and carries its own story — one that unfolds over time and becomes part of its owner’s personal journey.

THE SOUL OF THE BRAND

At the heart of everything — a team, craftsmanship, and inspiration.

Yana is the creative soul of the brand. She infuses emotion, meaning, and aesthetics into every line and every texture.

Andrii is the visionary who transforms ideas into systems and craft into a sustainable business..

Our team is not just a production line — it’s a community of artisans who believe in the value of meaningful things.

Blackwood is not about mass production. It’s about depth. About trust. About pieces that hold their meaning through the years.

THE CREATOR’S SPIRIT

For those who choose what’s real.

Who see value in the details.

Who seek not just things — but reflections of themselves.

Blackwood is not about the mainstream. It’s about depth. About trust. About pieces that carry meaning — and keep it through the years.

RESPONSIBILITY

We believe in ethical craftsmanship, mindful consumption, and the long life of every piece.

Our items are made to last for years — crafted to serve, not to be replaced.

We offer a warranty, post-warranty care, and are always ready to breathe new life into your beloved Blackwood piece.

Blackwood also supports social initiatives — including aid to the Ukrainian people affected by war, and other causes where standing together truly matters.

WE ARE BLACKWOOD

We create pieces that don’t scream — they speak.

That don’t impose — they inspire.

We believe in the power of what’s real.

And we create — because we simply can’t not.
